The first round of the Casino Outdoor and Disposal BASS Electric Series hit the banks of the mighty Richmond River at Casino over the weekend. 35 Anglers were there with high hopes as the river was looking pristine only 12hours before the start time.
As the rain set in on Friday there was a lot of water coming down the river and unfortunately this greeted us on the Sunday morning with about 800mm rise of filthy dirty water. Unfortunately no fish hit the scales for the anglers with the rapid change in conditions shutting down the fish.
I would like to thank everyone for being patience with the delayed start and for almost everyone waiting around for the lucky draws. The general consensus was that it was a great arena just a shame about the weather.
The Casino Outdoors BASS Electric Series heads Clarrie Hall in April so we hope to see you all there.
