BREAM Classic Open presented by Bluefin Boats and Mercury, 11/12th November.
Hitting Sydney Harbour mid week in spring, ABT’s only teams BREAM event is an open event this year, a departure from the BREAM Classic Championship structure where anglers have had to qualify to fish the event.
“We wanted to make the event easy for everyone to come and fish it, and making the event an open format means anyone can”, explained ABT’s Simon Goldsmith.
A tournament location with few peers, both in the terms of fish quality and its appeal with anglers the event should see plenty of teams hitting the water, and plenty of big bags gracing the scales at the weigh-in.
“Sydney Harbour is one of the best tournament venues in the country, and come spring its hot edge bite should have started to heat up. I’m expecting the fishing to be top class and the caliber of the field to be like wise”, explained Simon Goldsmith.
Building as one of the premier events on the calendar, the caliber of the prize pool on offer has a similar trend with Bluefin Boats and Mercury
joining forces to offer anglers a sensational major prize, as Simon Goldsmith explains.
“We have a fully wrapped (X Factor Signs) Bluefin 4.55 Drifter Tournament Pro, fitted with a 60 Mercury 4-stroke outboard motor to present to the champion team. Fitted out, set-up and water tested by Bluefin and Mercury this is a package that will impress both in looks and performance”.
With the package close to being wrapped, finished, and ready to hit the water anglers will see the boat very as it hits the road on the BREAM and BASS tour in 2014.
“We’re going to get this boat out and about so anglers can see it. We’re going to hitch it on and take it to Clarence, Boondooma, Gold Coast, and fewof the other events so we can show it off”, explained Simon Goldsmith.
While ABT and Bluefin are busy getting the prize boat on the road and in front of the camera and the masses anglers can start entering the event.
The event entry form is now online can be downloaded by clicking BreamClassicOpen2014.
But beware it’s a first come first served situation, if you enter first you’ll get to start first so don’t leave it too long.
So get entering and get set for the biggest teams bream event of the year.
