SBS R5 Results- Mallacoota

Mallacoota Pics - Team LOFT - Greg Rooke & Paul Holmes
Basin Lure and Fly Anglers Inc held Round 5 of their Southern Bream Series (SBS) at Mallacoota on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22th June, the event was proudly sponsored by SHIMANO.
The weather the week preceeding the event had been what could only be described as ordinary with hundreds of millimeters of rain falling and making the waterway look more like a chocolate milkshake, and competitors who had the opportunity to prefish all said it was going to be a very tough asignment for Teams to get their bag of Bream.

The Saturday morning greeted the 71 Boating Teams and 20 Kayak Anglers with cold conditions with clear skys and afterwards with a beautiful sunny day, with the same again on the Sunday.
I would again like to say a big thank you to all those that competed and showed their continued support for this great Series, as it is only getting bigger and better as every Round passes and the positive feedback that is filtering back is greatly appreciated.
The final winner in the Boating section was Team LOFT with Paul Holmes & Greg Rooke with a 10/10 bag totalling an amazing 10.025kg, second went to the Team Compleat Angler Batemans Bay/Shimano with Jason Mayberry & Terry Parmenter with a 10/10 bag totalling 9.380kg, third went to Team Salt N Fresh with Garry King & Brett Dinham with a 10/10 bag totalling 9.230kg, Fourth went to Team Reel Steel with Gary Carruthers & Steve Allen with a 10/10 bag totalling 9.200kg and fifth with Team Gamakatsu/Atomic with Paul Malov & Alex Franchuk with a 10/10 bag totally 9.165kg.
