Classic Catches as Bluefin BREAM Open Heads to Sydney

Australia’s bream Mecca, Sydney Harbour, beckons for the Bluefin/Mercury BREAM Classic in November (11/12th). The remodelled and renamed BREAM Classic Championship event that has featured as part of the ABT BREAM Grand Final for many years, this year’s event is open to all to fish, with the need to qualify at a BREAM Classic event throughout the year to fish the event shunted for 2014.

“We wanted to open it up for all and give everyone a chance to experience the fishing that Sydney Harbour has to offer and be a part of one of the few bream teams events we have on the ABT BREAM calendar”, explained ABT’s Simon Goldsmith.

While anglers will get to experience The Harbour’s world class bream fishing they’ll do so while battling to win the $30,000 Bluefin/Mercury/Power-Pole Micro Anchor (by Hobie)/Haswing boat package on offer.

“It’s a great package, all you need to do is add your tackle, a tank of fuel, and you’ll be bream fishing in Bluefin/Mercury package. Of course you need to win the tournament first to do so”, explained Simon Goldsmith.
