Getting Lucky on the BARRA Tour

IMG_2806 - CopyThe 2014 Rapala BARRA Tour heads to North Queensland in just a couple of weeks and one of the world’s biggest lure brands, Lucky Craft, will be there with bells on.

Lucky Craft’s Australian distributor EJ Todd is keenly looking forward to The Tour and the fishing that has made the BARRA Tour one of the most anticipated events on the ABT calendar.

“EJ Todd and ABT are like minded in their focus when it comes to fishing. We’re both focused on getting people outdoors and fishing, and focused on providing a platform that allows people to experience the excitement of tournament angling, and when it comes to barra fishing tournament style there’s nothing like the BARRA Tour”, explains EJ Todd’s Trent Short.

When it comes to hitting the water and chasing barra on the tournament trail few lure brands have the name and reputation of Lucky Craft, a reputation that’s been forged globally and a reputation that’s flourished down under thanks in large part to their barra catching ways.

“Lucky Craft is synonymous with strength, quality, and performance and anglers on the tour will get to experience first hand just how good they really are”, explains ABT’s Simon Goldsmith.

With iconic lures such as the Lucky Craft Pointer, Sammy and Stayee included in the team briefing kits and prize packs anglers will be armored with the best barra baits going around, with the Lucky Craft presented Peter Faust round of the BARRA Tour in particular receiving plenty of attention when it comes to the Lucky Craft experience.

“The anglers and barra better beware at Faust because it’s going to be a hail of hardbodies coming at them when we get there”, explains Simon Goldsmith

EJ Todd also delivers on the rod front on the BARRA Tour with the NS Black Hole brand headlining the opening event of the tour at Teemburra Dam.

“The first event of the tour is always exciting, with anglers jumping out of their skin to get into the fish. With Black Hole kick starting the tour and Lucky Craft headlining the final and series deciding final round it’s building as a BARRA Tour that primed for big things and big fish. Bring it on”, concluded ABT’s Simon Goldsmith.
