Storm Peter Faust Evening Event – Final Results

The final showpiece event of the 2015 Rapala BARRA Tour, the Storm Peter Faust Evening event, was the battleground to determine the 2015 Team of the Year title. In the end the fishing did not disappoint, with anglers getting stuck into some world class barramundi fishing and ABT records falling by the wayside. At the end of the event one team stood aloft the peak, with team Humminbird/EJ Todd capturing 10/10 fish for a combined total of 1102cm. This ten fish record smashed the previous record of 1010cm set at Lake Awoonga in 2009. In the process team Humminbird/EJ Todd also secured the Team of the Year title with 299 out of a possible 300 points (1st Teemburra Evening event, 2nd Teemburra Night Championship and 1st Peter Faust Evening event).

The statistics for the event were impressive with 95 barramundi scored during the event for a total of 9114cm (average 95.94). The Austackle Big Barramundi was secured by Rhyce Bullimore of team Swamp Donkeys and went an impressive 122cm. With weather conditions optimal throughout the Barra Tour anglers could have not wished for more ideal conditions to fish in. In addition many anglers caught their first impoundment barramundi. Many personal best captures fell by the wayside.
