EDGE Rods Rookie of the Year | BREAM

The EDGE Rods Rookie of the Year on the BREAM side is heating up after the Atomic Forster BREAM Qualifier. Anglers are eligible for the ROY title if they’re fishing their first season of ABT BREAM competition, either from the back or front of the boat. Or, if they are on their first season as a boater after having competed previously as a non-boater.

The prize for the year long race? A brand new EDGE First Strike of the winner’s choice, valued at $599.
Eligible anglers accumulate points under the same rules as our Angler of the Year titles, and their best 4/8 events count at the end of the season.

James Morgan from the ACT is currently leading the race, after competing in both the Tasmanian events and last weekends event at Forster. Dallas Blatchford is in second, only 6 points behind. Both James and Dallas only have 3/8 events being counted, so with two events left in the season, and 14 anglers having fished 2 events, it’s still anyone’s game moving forward.
