Australian Bass Tournament Presents

2021 Daiwa BREAM Series | Maui Jim Gladstone Qualifier (11/12 September)

Thursday 16th September - Here is the non-boater winner's interview with Wade Walker:

4:00pm
- Here's your winner's interview with Tristan Taylor:

3:00pm - We have our winners.  Congratulations to Tristan Taylor (boater) and Wade Walker (non boater) for the win!

2:00pm -
That's a wrap.  Session finished and all boats back in on time.  Results to be confirmed.

12:30pm -
Bouncing back from a day one donut, Chris Greensill has happy to have a couple of bream on the board today.

12noon -
Headed into the final couple of hours of the session and there's double hook-ups happening on Mick Slade's boat!

11:00am
- Darren Borg is holding strong at the top of the boater leader board as we enter the final half of the session.  Here's a pic that has come through this morning from Mick Slade - better know for his BARRA skills but showing he can whack 'em in the BREAM events too.

10:00am - Biggest mover and shaker so far today is Steve Morgan who has jumped from 11th spot up into 4th this morning.  Can he hold his place in the top 5?

9:00am - Limits are coming through.  Darren Borg has just logged fish number five for the session.  Craig Templar loves his Maui Jim Sunglasses and is currently running a 'try before you buy' session for Gladstone Bream....

8:00am -
Darren 'Dizzy' Borg is three fish in for his limit today and already looking to firm up his place at the top of the leaderboard.

7:25am -
Some early limits in this morning from Steve Morgan and Tristan Taylor.  Scoreboards LIVE now.  Steve Morgan is also live-streaming his day.  Click the 'Angler Live Stream' link above for the link.

7:00am
- Session two is underway.  Twenty boats are out again on the Gladstone arena for the Maui Jim round of the 2021 Daiwa BREAM Series.

___________

8:00pm - That's a wrap for session one of the 2021 Daiwa BREAM Series Maui Jim sponsored round in Gladstone.  It all kicks off again tomorrow morning from 7am.  To get you through until then here is the highlights video from today:

2:00pm -
All anglers are back.  Scores cross checked and we made no sure nothing was missed in the app.  Darren 'Dizzy' Borg leads the boaters after session one and Wade Walker leads the non boaters.

1:15pm
- There is plenty of by-catch for anglers fishing the Gladstone arena.  This one just through from Geoff Alford #notabream

1:00pm - A new Big Bream just sent through from Wade Walker.  Check out this 35.5cm Gladstone Bream:

1:00pm -
There's one hour left in the session and Tristan Taylor continues to hold onto his lead with a 5/5 bag of mostly Pikey Bream.

11:50am -
We can always count on Wade Walker to send through a classic selfie! Walker is currently sitting fourth on the non boater leaderboard.  There's 11/20 boaters and 5/13 non boaters who have now logged their 5/5 bream limits.

11:15am -
Mathew Fatafehi had an impressive finish at the last BREAM round on the Gold Coast but is having a slower start to his session in Gladstone.  With one fish on the board so far he has a little bit of work to do in the second half of the session.

10:50am -
John Noble is a name we usually associate with great results at ABT BASS events but this weekend John has jumped in the back of the boat and is giving the Gladstone BREAM round a crack.  He currently has a couple of the scoreboard and is sitting in the top 10. Nic pic!

10:30am -
Six boaters and two non boaters have secured their 5 bream limits.  A few great photos are also coming through amongst the catches.  Here is Mick Torley (taking the early lead for the non-boaters) with one of his catches from this morning:

9:30am -
Five boaters have their 5 bream limit.  With a few still to get their first fish on the scoreboard.

9:00am
- Tristan Taylor is on to the Pikey Bream but it's Jamie McKeown that currently has the event's Big Bream.  We're just waiting on photo confirmation for a 33cm bream caught this morning. Check out one of Tristan's many Pikey's from the opening of the session:

8:00am -
Bream captures are rolling through.  Tristan Taylor takes an early lead and is first get a 5/5 bream limit for the session.

7:04am - First fish are on the scoreboard.  Jamie McKeown is the first angler to land a fish for the session.

6:45am - Session one is underway for the Maui Jim sponsored round of the 2021 Daiwa BREAM Series at Gladstone. 20 boats
