The Rapala BASS Pro Series features five qualifying events in 2026. Bass fans will also want to mark the CrushCity BASS Australian Open on their calendars in October when it heads back to Lake St Clair in NSW.
The Rapala BASS Pro will again be individual weight in 2026.
Things to note about 2026 BASS Pro Events:
- Selected BASS Pro events will be run using the ABT Tournament Series App. Qualifying BASS Rounds that will be using the app have been noted on the 2026 Rapala BASS Pro Series Event List below
By using the ABT Tournament Series app we will be able to allow for five and three fish limits and it also increases spectator coverage of the events.
You can download and test the ABT Touranment Series App at any time. - Angler limits for both weigh in and app events will be as follows for the 2026 season: Boaters will have a maximum five fish limit; non boaters will have a maximum 3 fish limit.
- The 2026 Rapala BASS Pro Grand Final will run over three days. Day one and two will see the full field (30 boaters and 30 non boaters) compete with the Non Boater Grand Final champion crowned at the conclusion of day two. On day three there will be a cut and the top 15 boaters will compete for the Grand Final Champion title.
- The maximum mesh size for landing nets used in BASS events in 2026 is 15mm.
Entry forms were made available on the 23rd of December 2025. ABT will collect early entries between the 23rd of December – Tuesday the 6th of January 2026. On Wednesday the 7th of January entries received to date will be randomly drawn and allocated a session one start order. Any entries received after 9am (AEST) on Wednesday the 7th of January will be added to the entry / session start list by order received.
