Session 2 - Saturday 16th October 2021
10:15pm - Teams are all in and catches have been cross checked. Team Fishing Monthly takes out their first BARRA title; team Anita BARRA was close behind and finishes in second and runners up from the recent BARRA Australian Open SC Marine Doctor round out the top three.
9:15pm - Team Fishing Monthly have just put BARRA number three into the boat putting them back into the lead. It's going to be a tight finish. There's 45mins left in the session and 3kg separating 1st (Fishing Monthly), 2nd (SC Marine Doctor) and 3rd (Anita Barra). Strap in for the end of the session folks, it's going to be a nail biter!
9:00pm - The Wilson's HQ teams - Venom Rods and Wilson Fishing - have kicked it up a gear with both teams adding to their limits in the last five minutes.
8:50pm - They have had limited phone service where they are fishing and we're waiting on photo to come through to verify all the catches, but team SC Marine Doctor are another team with their five fish limit. Tommy is reporting that they had their five before five!
8:45pm - A little over an hour left in the session and team Anita Barra are back in the lead.
8:15pm - A few catches coming through now. Karim De Ridder, Jeremy Cornelius and Steve Morgan all putting fish on the scoreboard. Team Fishing Monthly is back in the lead for the first time this session.
7:00pm - Team Duck Nose are first on the board tonight with a five barra limit.
6:00pm - It's been a quiet last couple of hours on the lake. Team Wilson Fishing have just put one on the board. It was around this time yesterday afternoon we started to see a few fish make it to the scoreboard. Things should start to get interesting soon.
4:00pm - Here's the photo we've been waiting on to come through. Check out 26kg of solid Tinaroo Barra from Liam Robinson for Anita Barra, the new event Big BARRA. Can it be beaten this evening?
2:45pm - Team Venom are quick on the scoreboard this afternoon. Both Dicko and Adam have landed BARRA in the last 15 minutes.
2:30pm - Big BARRA has just been beat by Liam Robinson from Anita Barra. A 26kg, 1200mm Tinaroo giant just came through. Fish has been verified.
2:05pm - First fish of the afternoon from Rob Wood for team SC Marine Doctor. A 17kg beauty. Photo still to come.
1:45pm - The sun is shining and no signs (yet) of any storms on the horizon. Anglers were keen to get out on Lake Tinaroo today and were all ready to go slightly ahead of schedule. How many five barra limits will we see hit the scoreboard tonight?
Session 1 - Friday 15th October 2021
10:00pm - All teams are in and catches checked. Team Fishing Monthly is sitting on top of the leaderboard with a 4/5 barra limit for a little over 50kg.
9:00pm - Team T.B.C (Peter Laine and Ben Williams) are the first team of the night to put their full 5/5 limit on the board.
8:00pm - Sniper Lures.Fish have just put their first fish on the board for tonight making it 9/16 teams on the scoreboard with two hours of fishing time left and another storm cell about to make its way across the dam.
7:50pm - Team Venom (Troy Dixon and Adam Meredith) have landed their first BARRA for the Series - a 13kg fish measuring in at 1030mm.
7:25pm - It's still raining out on the lake but it is not stopping the BARRA from hitting the scoreboards. Frankie and David for team Wilson Young Guns aren't letting the rain get in the way of this 1040mm BARRA.
7:10pm - Some more awesome Tinaroo BARRA hitting the scoreboards. Brett Turner for team Smak Wild just sent through this 18kg BARRA measuring 1100mm.
6:45pm - 2020 Team of the Year Anita Barra have just landed their first BARRA for the series and are now on the board too.
6:30pm - This is what we came to Tinaroo to see! Steve Morgan just landed 20kg of solid Tinaroo Barra which measured 1130mm on the mat. Bring on the next big one, who will get it?!
6:00pm - Storms continue to roll through the area, but in good news our fifth fish for the session has just hit the scoreboards. A 10kg BARRA from Tommy Wood for team SC Marine Doctor that measured 97cm making them the fourth team to get on the scoreboard this evening.
5:00pm - It's been slow since the first few teams caught a total of four fish within the first 90mins of the session. Storms are now rolling through the area. Let's see what this does to the fishing once they pass through.
3:00pm - A second team on the scoreboard. Check out this 15kg BARRA caught by Nathan Ruth for team Duck Nose that measured in at 1060mm.
2:45pm - First two fish on the board. The About Town Bait & Tackle boys are getting into 'em early!
2:18pm - 20 minutes into the session and team About Town Bait & Tackle are on the scoreboard with this 14kg beauty measuring in at 1040mm caught by Luke. Sign of a very fishy afternoon?
1:55pm - Teams are off for the opening round of the 2021 Zerek BARRA series on Lake Tinaroo. 16 teams are entered into this event. Who will be first on the scoreboard?
9:30am - Today kicks off the 2021 Zerek BARRA Series with the Wilson sponsored round at Lake Tinaroo. Full coverage across the lake means LIVE scoreboards all session. Anglers are due lakeside for the briefing at 1:00pm with the session kicking off today at 2:00pm (or earlier if everyone is in and ready to go). Chance of a little rain on the lake as the session starts this afternoon. Anglers better pack that wet weather gear!

PRE FISH BAN:
There will be no practice fishing on the day of the event. Practice fishing is allowed until 12 midnight the evening before the event.
Prefishing is permitted up until the prefish ban starts 12 midnight the evening before the event.

Within the exclusion zone along the dam wall.
n.b these exclusion zones are shown on a sign at the boat ramp.
2pm – 10pm each day.
1:00pm Friday the 15th of October at the Yungaburra Boat Ramp. At the briefing ABT staff will be checking to make sure you are holding a current SIP and at the checkout, they will be checking for working navigation lights, PFDs and a functioning kill switch.
2pm, Sunday 17th October at the Yungaburra Boat Ramp.
