Let us tell you – it’s a massive effort to get this calendar completed each year. It has to work around closed seasons, best times of year for fish care and other events, but we usually end up with a matrix of events that keeps all of our BREAM, BASS and BARRA anglers happy each season.
So this is what the Daiwa BREAM Series, 13 Fishing BASS Pro Series and Zerek BARRA Series look like in 2025, as well as the various Opens.
The Daiwa BREAM Series traditionally starts with a Victorian road trip and 2025 is no different. The big bream factories of Gippsland Lakes and Mallacoota start the year off, followed by a return to the Clarence River and a Forster/Taree double header.
We give Victoria a break for the 13 Fishing BASS Pro series in 2025 and return to the Hawkesbury River and Lake Glenbawn for qualifiers amongst the other successful locations we visit.
In the Zerek BARRA Series, Tinaroo becomes an every-other-year venue, replaced by a couple of stand-alone events at Awoonga and Monduran Dam.
All of the Opens stay at their traditional locations, however there’s the addition of a Victorian BREAM Open late in the year in the same format as other Opens – Boater Only.
Please remember that these are preliminary dates and your book time and accommodation at your own risk. They lock in at the time entry forms are released in December. We rarely have to move events, but sometimes clashes or circumstances out of our control may make us do so.
